Inspired by the most deadly plants and mushrooms found in North America, this print includes: water hemlock, nightshade (also known as belladonna), white snakeroot (eaten by cattle, it poisons their milk, leading to the term ‘milk sickness’), and destroying angels mushrooms. The image first began as a drawing that was made into a photopolymer plate and then letterpress printed with black ink onto American-made paper.
